DANCING WITH DARKERs

     Light off.

     Cicada sounds...

     Unknown creature's growl

     and...dramatic horror movie sounds effect.

DOOM...

     " Before night, all you have to do is to suit yourselves become a ghost which can help you survive through the night... ", " They will come out at night for hunt. You have to two choices... "

     " Being hunted or... dancing with them? "

     " Who are ' THEM ' ? "

     " The Darkers... "

1. Clue - you have only three fingers.

             - you have no eyes on your face.

             - you have very long hair

             - your body part must contain two unmodified paper plate

             - you are almost 50% covered with black tar

     " With these traits, evil spirit will think you are the one of them. If you survive until drawn...leave SPOOKS ISLAND by SUNRISE !! "

     We have 1 hour to design our custom and complete 30 seconds video record. I'm the model, who will wearing the whole outfit we designed with garbage bag, rafia strings, pads and cello paper.

     Since Tien Sy is the one in Fashion Department, so we let him do design it the most and we became his helper.

Wait! That is embarrassing...

First, Yin Ying suggested to place the paper plate on the head like a panda.

That's a good idea! Unfortunately our head part design was not allowed.

So, I suggested to put it on my hand's back ( instead of chest huff... )

LIKE A NINJA , ASSASSIN, FIGHTER OR KILLER??

After sticking 5 fingers into 3 each hand by using masking tape...

     I feel like is going to fight with those " DARKERS ", but not to avoid them ==

     Then we start going out to making our 30 seconds video record. It's weird when someone pass by you and staring at you haha.

3. We choose outdoor.

     Because we need a big space hehe...

As you thought, I'm also confused on the creatures I'm fighting just now... is it the darkers?? Due to my eyes was covered, I can't confirm with from my sight.

Nevermind~ I'll leave this SPOOKS ISLAND tomorrow anyway~

4. After back to class, we saw others team's video and how they survive with those " DARKERS ".

     All of them were funny and interesting! What a happy lesson we have. ^^

WEEK 9 - Paper Tower !

     W E D N E S D A Y ,   S E P T E M B E R   1 6 ,   2 0 1 5

PAPER TOWER !

     Today, a new lesson about the paper work.

     THE PAPER TOWER

     We have total 45 minutes to build a freestanding structure that is as tall as possible.

     We don't have any helper such as tap, glue, bluetac, stickers and adhesive. Just using the paper given build up. The height of tower minimum hit at 1 meter high.

     GROUP MEMBER MATCHING ARE RANDOMLY

     Our group have 4 members and obtain 10 pics of magazine paper.

     First, we simply discussed the structure we wanna build, and the method we want to use on it. We choose to fold then paper into triangle shape as our structure base.

     We were all believed that it can be a good stable base at the very start...

     Soon, our believe was doesn't happened.

     On the triangle base, is a roll of paper stacked together to reach a very height. Rolled paper were put into a hole which at the center of the base. But the taller the height of the structure, the lower the stability it has.

     So, we added another 2 pics triangle paper on the base and still...

     There was a limit. We got the problem on how to stack it more higher.

     NOW - 92 CM

     STILL 8 MORE CM TO GO

     

     After a few time brainstorming in many kind of stacking and slotting but still never works. Then, I suggested to give up getting it high instead of stable the middle part of the structure.

     Because there is no reason to rebuild our structure, it was already 92% nearly complete. ( I won't tell other because of lazy make us don't want to rebuild )

     5 more pics we can use. I put 3 pics rolled paper into the interface make it fit, and add the rest paper into small roll ( like a straw ) stacked on the top of the structure.

     Finally.

     STABILITY IS GOOD ENOUGH?

     At least our structure still standing while our lecturer purposely poked it for testing its capability. Although we are not taking risk to touch it.

     BE THE FIRST TEAM ACHIEVED

     Our structure is quite different with others...feeling weird or unique maybe?

     Ours is most like in triangle shape...cool, and on the ground.

     Friday, September 11, 2015 - We decided gather in this day to continue and complete our work.

     This is about the 25 items list last week. And our work is combining any 15 items of it to a interesting story. The method we present it is make a SCRAPBOOK. 

     Story line completed.

Once upon a time...

There way a girl named SIEW KEI!!

She came from a WONDEROUS LAND across the sea.

You might ask..."where and what is the name the WONDEROUS  LAND is?", "how it looks like?"

And, the answer is

"In the dictionary, you can find it by the separated word WONDEROUS and LAND.

When she arrived in Singapore,

she saw a girl eating ICE CREAM.

Is ICE CREAM you know!?? ICE CREEEEAAAAAAAM!!!!

The stars instead her eyes, waterfall appeared from her mouth.

There is always a but.

She was saddened. Because she didin't have any money to buy any ICE CREAAAAM.

So, she hid behind a potted plant and wept while she is running away from the ice cream girl with tears.

SUDDENLY!

A cloud formed above her head,..

OHH!! IS THE FAIRY GODMOTHER~

THE FAIRY GODMOTHER~ rushing gave her "3 wishes"...

I mean 3 object.

It is obvious to choose right??

THE FAIRY GODMOTHER~ also led her to the FOUNTAIN WEALTH.

After drinking from the FOUNTAIN WEALTH

She fell asleep on the "RED CHAIR OF FATIGUE"

She dream of her friend from across the sea...

Their names were Sy*sea and Hao!

So, let SEE HOW!

When she woke up, she was a GHOST!

Taking out her MAGIC PHONE,

Siew Kei called THE FAIRY GODMOTHER~

Then.

The EMERGENCY HOTLINE rang!!!@$^((&$@

THE FAIRY GODMOTHER~picked up the phone.

Siew Kei explained the situation to THE FAIRY GODMOTHER~

and she said that...

IF Siew Kei could find out who killed her by 12 Midnight,

she will come alive again.

She remembered that she had met 3 suspicious looking people that day.

A SECURITY GUARD     A GIRL WITH A TATTOO     A MAN SHE DID NOT KNOW

SO WHO DID IT???

     Conclusion
